Mabuchi International Scholarship Foundation Scholarships

The purpose

This corporation provides scholarships and other educational support to domestic and foreign students who find it difficult to continue their studies due to financial reasons. The purpose is to contribute to the promotion of mutual understanding.

Established

The Mabuchi International Scholarship Foundation was established on March 15, 2005 with permission from the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology as an incorporated foundation under the old system, with contributions from Mr. Ryuichi Mabuchi's personal assets. After that, on April 1, 2012, due to the change in the system, it was certified as a public interest incorporated foundation by the Prime Minister.

This corporation will carry out the following businesses in order to achieve the public interest purposes set forth in the preceding article.

1. Providing and lending scholarships to domestic and foreign students
2. Interaction among scholarship students, guidance and advice for scholarship students
3. Provision of vouchers for children to receive education outside of school
4. Support for various education
5. Other business necessary to achieve the purpose of this corporation

2. The businesses in each item of the preceding paragraph shall be conducted in Japan and overseas.
