The Young Professionals Bootcamp (YPB) is an intensive in-residence 3-day leadership and enterprise program designed to equip high-performing young professionals with critical skills and mentorship to inspire innovation, drive success in the marketplace and transform the Nigerian economy. The YPB is powered by The Platform Nigeria and The Covenant Nation.
Since inception, YPB has hosted over 7 cohorts and equipped over 1500 fellows across Nigeria with critical skills, mentorship and advisory to transform Nigeria.

Aim and Benefits of The Young Professionals Bootcamp (YPB) Training
- Fellows will get the opportunity to pitch their existing enterprises for a chance to win a seed grant from a fund pool of up to N150 Million, and receive support to scale their ventures.
- Comprehensive support: Successful candidates will receive accommodation, meals and training materials throughout the duration of the bootcamp. All covered by the YPB to foster an intensive in-residence experience, where learning meets real-world application.
- Professional skills: Fellows are exposed to critical skills, tools, and resources they require to thrive in their chosen career paths, via general training on leadership and curated sessions for entrepreneurs, corporate professionals, and creatives.
- Mentorship from industry experts: Fellows meet, engage and learn from the insightful stories and experiences of established industry mentors across business, corporate career and creative industry.
- Community & networking: Fellows forge meaningful relationships with one another and nurture rewarding relationships that speakers and faculty that will accelerate their career trajectory in the short and long term.
- Post-Bootcamp Support: Fellows expand on the skills and contacts they gain throughout the program by taking advantage of continuous professional development, networking, and collaboration opportunities provided by The Platform YPB.
Requirements for The Young Professionals Bootcamp (YPB) Training Qualification
- Applicants must be final year students or graduates
- Applicants must be between the ages of 20-35 years old by June 2026.
- Applicants should have and demonstrate a burning desire to solve problems and thrive
- Applicants must be Nigerian
Interview date, Process and Venue for The Young Professionals Bootcamp (YPB) Training
- About 300 participants will be selected from a pool of applications to attend the immersive onsite (physical) bootcamp.
- Applicants can choose between three streams
- Corporate Career: designed to highlight and equip participants with key attributes required to build a successful corporate career
- Creative Industry: designed to explore the burgeoning creative economy equipping creatives (writers, photographers, storytellers, entertainers, artists, media and marketing practitioners etc.) with skills to monetize and scale their craft
- Entrepreneurship: designed to help aspiring entrepreneurs validate their ideas and understand the requisite steps to establish and grow a business
