UCD Merit Based Scholarships For Vietnamese Students

The Scholarship programme aims to attract excellent candidates to the Schools MSc programmes and encourage early application. Successful candidates will be ambassadors for their course and the School during their studies and after graduation.

Scholarship awards cover up to 50% of the tuition fees per candidate.

Scholarships are open to self-sponsored candidates who have been offered a place on a full time MSc Programme. Applicants must have completed the application process to the programme of their choice and fulfilled the necessary admissions requirements. 

Scholarship winners will be selected on merit.

Please note that UCD Belfield programmes run in conjunction with UCD Smurfit School - MSc in Biotechnology and Business, MSc in Biotherapeutics and Business and MSc in International Law and Business - are not eligible for Scholarships.

Our role in educating business leaders stretches back over 100 years with the establishment of the UCD Faculty of Commerce  in 1908. Requirements for UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School Masters Scholarship Qualification

• Exceptional students from Vietnam are considered for UCD Merit Based Scholarships For Vietnamese Students.
• The successful applicants will be the ambassadors for their course and the School during their studies and after graduation.
• The scholarship awarded to the students will cover up to 25% of the tuition fees.
• The UCD Merit Based Scholarships For Vietnamese Students to attract excellent candidates to the programmes provided by the schools.
• Applicant should be self-sponsored and should have applied and received an admit for full-time MSc Programme. 
• The application process should be completed and have fulfilled the necessary admissions requirements by the applicant.
• The candidates for UCD Merit Based Scholarships For Vietnamese Students are selected based on merit.

2. All applicants will automatically be considered for this Scholarship so there is no separate form or process for this scholarship.

To be considered you must have a minimum IELTS score of 7.0 or a TOEFL of 100 / 120 for our English Language Requirement and you also must have a degree result average of minimum 8 out of 10 (i.e. minimum 80% average). You also must hold a full unconditional offer from the UCD Smurfit School of Business by 1st May 2022.

Decisions will be made by the Schools Scholarship Committee on or before 31st June 2022. All decisions are final. Successful candidates can be awarded one Scholarship only. No candidate will be awarded more than one Scholarship or Bursary. Candidates qualifying for more than one scholarship and successful can’t transfer or use one scholarship between or against another programme.
